Erik Berg - 22 years experience working in local law enforcement. The original designer of the MORE HITS™ line of software products (1995 - 2005), Latent Print Examiner, Forensic Photographer, and nationally known expert on the use of computer imaging to enhance fingerprint evidence.

Mr Berg is best known for his work in forensic imaging, which he first used in 1995 to remove the background fabric patterns from a bloody palm print and three fingerprints found on a bedsheet next to a 21 year old female murder victim. The case, Eric Hayden vs State of Washington, was widely publicized on television and was the first to be upheld by an appellate court confirming the admissibility of computer imaging to enhance and identify fingerprints. the software Mr Berg designed has been used by hundreds of law enforcement agencies.

Mr Berg has been a subject matter expert on Forensic Intelligence to the US Department of Defense since 2007. He has deployed overseas in support of the warfighter, developed new capabilities and supported the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence with policy development.
